I'm assuming many people don't even know they can't Scan with their HP all-in-one using Sierra unless they are using Image Capture or the Apple System Printing Prefs which also using the Image Capture app. Pull down the Two-Sided dropdown menu, choose either Long-Edge. Under the ‘Layout’ section look for Two-Sided. Go to the File menu and choose Print as usual.
